This makes sense. Now that Conan O’Brien’s Tonight Show is gone, all of the bric-a-brac related to the show have suddenly become collector’s items. Those who were fortunate enough to grab something from the show are now looking to turn a tidy sum with them.
Conan O’Brien may have left “The Tonight Show,” but his merchandise lives on.
“The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien” items are suddenly hot tickets on eBay, where official coffee mugs are being bid as high as $70.
One seller is even auctioning off a ticket from the final O’Brien “Tonight Show” — and so far the bids for what’s usually a free piece of paper are up to $12.50.
Since O’Brien is currently on contractual lockdown until close to the end of the year, he should supplement his multi-million dollar buyout by selling locks of his hair. I bet he could get a decent price.
