‘Warm Bodies’ Gets a Writer/Director By René S. Garcia, Jr. | January 19, 2010

Can Zombies fall in love? We’re going to find out.

If I had to pick a favorite Hollywood monster it’d be the Zombie. The fear of Zombies stems from several places, such as death, being eaten alive and other people. Looks like a new Zombie movie is in the works based on a book titled Warm Bodies. From what I’m reading, the story is a romantic horror directed and written by Jonathan Levine.

From Variety:

Story centers on an existentially tormented zombie who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims and starts a chain reaction that will transform him and his fellow zombies.

Yeah, I’m not very excited about this film. It smacks a little too much of The Return of the Living Dead and I’m just not into talking, running and — now — loving Zombies.
