Life is perception of said life… therefore look more closley at your atributes than at what you consider faults. Though you should be mindful of those also you need not dwell on them. I think then you will find what you are looking for. Water seeks its own level. You have wit and humor; two of most attractive features any person can have, all other things fade.

I thought I would stop by and see what you were up to. This piece took a wrong turn somewhere after the lights debacle….. But at least the lights got up there.

I appreciate the kind words, but I have to admit that I always chafe at positive outlooks that are contrary to the empirical evidence. I think there comes a time when you just have to say, “Well, based on your history (which, to be fair, you don’t really know, because you don’t really know me) there’s a very good chance that you will spend the rest of your life alone, but who knows? You may stumble upon that one gorgeous woman who’s just gotten out of a terrible and abusive relationship and is currently a complete mess, but has somehow managed to hold it together for the span of time that you crossed her path and has tricked you into thinking things will lead to a healthy relationship. And you two will live happily ever after.”

Now THAT I could get behind.

Nonsense! You are a wonderful person and easy to love. The people who don’t notice this about you will never be worth your time anyway. Just because the cards haven’t played out in your favor YET doesn’t meant they won’t ever. Stop cruising through life looking through the review mirror or you’ll miss out on what’s in front of you now.

Nice job on the lights. They probably bought their ladder at Sam’s, that’s where I got mine and MY son complains about it being a heavy knockoff of the original.

Sounds to me like you need a vacation or at least a hobby. Something that doesn’t resemble work of any sort that will put a smile on your face and a bounce in your step.
