Well, you shouldnt write about or review something you dont watch in its entirety. I understand that the people who decide who wins Oscars dont watch their entire performances either. I think movie critics should pick Oscar winners—they watch every film [or most films]. Besides, even in the BBC series Edge of Darkness, they meant to kill the daughter. The major difference between the TV series and the film was that for the film they added that Northmoor secretly manufactured nukes, which was not in the storyline of the series.

Youre also wrong about the “Republicans are demonized” line. Name ONE political figure in any of the pictures it showed Bennett in [with Bush, Giulaini, etc...] that doesnt LOVE the fact that we went to war in Iraq an are hell bent in attacking every country that came to mind? I think it was damned accurate! I didnt understand why Gibson’s character didnt act scared to die at any given moment or why he wasnt afraid to get in his car because of a bomb [maybe he didnt give a shit if he died?]. I also didnt understand why the 2 men at the end didnt shoot Gibson. Obviously, that would have been shitty for the movie—but why didnt they do that scene better? Like the 2 shooting into the house and Gibson escaping? Why did they want him alive?

Hey there. Thanks for stopping by and reading. As a movie reviewer, one of the fine lines I have to tread is deciding how much of the plot I should reveal. Since the plot point you mentioned in your comment is somewhat of a twist — albeit early on — I decided to write the synopsis of the story to represent what the characters thought pre-revelation. To answer your question, no I don’t actually watch these movies. My process is to carefully dissect the movie trailers and piece together what I think happens and then judge the movie accordingly. So far no one has found me out until now.
